In fact, a newer version of the firmware, v03.30.67, has been released for both LG C2 and G2 TVs and apparently, it reportedly fixes the issue with loss in brightness and black levels.

The new firmware has just been made available in some markets, with more expected to get it in the coming days. Alternatively, if you can’t wait for the OTA, you can download it manually here.

Once downloaded, the firmware can be installed through a USB drive. Simply insert the drive with the downloaded firmware and follow the on-screen prompts to install it. This should fix the brightness issue.
