Based on the book ‘Accountable’ by Marty Makary, The Resident is a popular American medical drama television show available on Fox.

The web series is set in the Chastain Park Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. It focuses on the lives of its staff members and the bureaucratic practices of the hospital industry.

The latest ‘Season 6’ of The Resident was aired in September 2022 and the season finale arrived on January 17, 2023. Following the end of season 6, fans began to shift their focus to the next season.

As per the reports doing rounds, it has been rumored that season 7 of The Resident has been cancelled for 2023. It looks like viewers are speculating this based on how the last one ended.

So, is ‘Season 7’ of The Resident coming or not in 2023? While it’s not officially confirmed if the show will continue this year, fans can keep their fingers crossed as the possibility of its arrival is not fully dead.

According to a report (Via – Decider), a representative of The Resident told that the show makers are yet to decide on the upcoming season.

Furthermore, a report that came out in December hinted that season 7 is still a possibility. Hence, nothing can be said as of yet.

So if the show makers finally decide on bringing season 7 of the web series this year, when can you expect it to air?

Fox is known for releasing every new season of The Resident in spring, which is around September. For instance, season 5 and season 6 came in September of 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Similarly, season 3 and season 4 were released in September 2019 and 2020 respectively.
