Steam is one of the well-known digital video game distribution and storefronts used worldwide. The company allows gamers to create personalized profiles with custom avatars, backgrounds, profile descriptions, and much more.
One can also showcase their unlocks, participation in Steam events, and trading card collections on their profile, with Profile levels.
However, some are unhappy.
Twitch link removed from Steam profile
Multiple Steam users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are facing an issue where the Twitch profile link keeps on getting removed from their profile bio. But luckily, the links to user profiles on other platforms remain unaffected.
It has been alleged that Steam flags one’s user profile link as suspicious, time and again. Apparently, one gets the ‘WARNING : SUSPICIOUS URL :’ error message and their Twitch profile link gets removed automatically.
Due to this, players are unable to share their profile links and are losing out on potential stream views. Gamers are also experiencing difficulties in connecting their Steam account with Twitch.
And understandably this has made some raise eyebrows as others can advertise their profile links both in their bio and in reels, without any hiccups.
