[Updated] Master Duel not launching or throwing 'an error has occurred' message? You're not alone, issue under investigation

9:43 am (IST): Master Duel servers appear to be down as players are once again reporting that they’re seeing the ‘an error has occurred’ message. A player shared a screenshot of the error with a post on Reddit and multiple comments indicate they’re facing the same issue.

6:30 pm (IST): The issue is resolved.

Developed and published by Konami, Master Duel is a digital collectible card game available on different gaming platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Windows.

The game was working perfectly fine until some players begin to report an issue where they are having trouble entering the game. Players say that Master Duel is not launching or throwing an error message that says ‘an error has occurred’.

Here are some reports for reference:

@YGOMasterDuel @YGO_DL_Official hello, I cannot enter to Yugioh Master Duel and Duel links from my PC (steam). These messages appear on the screen. My internet connection is fine. (Source)

Last couple of days I been getting this error when trying to boot the game up on my PC. “An error has occured. Please check your device’s signal status and restart the application.” I’m also getting this with Duel Links too if that matters. Anyone have any fixes for this or can someone point in the right direction please? Thanks in advance. (Source)

Regrettably, we haven’t come across any workaround that might help you fix this glitch. And some players have already confirmed that this issue does not get fixed by simply restarting the device or re-installing the game.

Hence, you’ll have to wait until devs come up with a definitive fix for the same. And we hope that they fix it soon since its making the whole game unplayable.

Fortunately, the support team has acknowledged this issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, there’s no ETA as to when exactly it will be fixed.
