Google Pixel 6 units reportedly 'freezing when typing on Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3' for a section of users
Google recently rolled out the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 update for Pixel users which brings bug fixes to some of the known issues.
For instance, it fixed the bug where the system UI kept crashing on accessing a wallpaper or style screen from the system settings app.
The patch also addresses the glitch that caused a black screen to appear when accessing the camera by pressing the power button twice.
However, it looks like the update has introduced some bugs as well.

Apparently, the issue pops up randomly when one is typing on different apps, be it Facebook, WhatsApp, or Google Chrome.
It has been alleged that the phone is rendered completely useless after the crash. Also, one needs to forcefully restart it in order to restore it to a working state.
This is understandably quite inconvenient for Pixel 6 users as they might be missing out on important calls, emails, or messages. Along with this, users are also experiencing difficulties connecting with their peers on social media.
Keyboard may be functional at first, but after some time it freezes up and then the whole device becomes unresponsive.
The UI freezes and not responding to any touches. Sometimes System UI crashed and the app is closed.
Users have even tried restarting and resetting their devices, time and again, but to no avail.
In this regard, Google has asked all those affected to capture a screen record or video of the issue and share it with the team for further investigation and hopefully fix it.
Until then, we’ll keep tabs on the issue where Google Pixel 6 units keep freezing when typing after the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 update and update this article as new information becomes available.
