YouTube app has been reportedly crashing for some Apple TV 4K users after a recent update. Users have reported that the app is crashing repeatedly, making it difficult to watch videos on their Apple TV.

The issue seems to have started after an update that was rolled out on March 22.

Most of the reports (1,2,3,4,5) are from Apple TV 4K Gen 4 users, who are experiencing the crashing issue despite trying common troubleshooting steps such as rebooting and reinstalling the app.

Is anybody else experiencing the youtube app crashing while watching videos? Using 4K gen4 looks like a recent update went through on 22nd March, since then it crashes approximately every.

Several threads on Reddit discussing the issue have garnered significant attention from other users who are experiencing the same problem.

According to some reports, the crashing issue has been ongoing for several days, with no apparent solution or workaround.

Some users have suggested that the issue may be related to the latest tvOS software update from Apple, while others believe it is a problem with the YouTube app itself.

It also seems that others are struggling with audio and sync issues as well as the app constantly freezing.
