Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has recently got the Season 3 patch that brings new content and gameplay changes.
The update introduces Massive Resurgence, Gunfight, and Cranked game modes along with new multiplayer maps. However, some are unhappy with the new update.
COD: Modern Warfare 2 rewards with Season 02 – 03 transition
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Modern Warfare 2 players complain that they have not yet received the proper rewards for their ranks after the Season 02 – 03 transition.
Notably, players got rewarded for a lower level as compared to their real level in the last season.
For instance, those who had finished Season 02 in the Diamond division have only earned a Platinum division operator skin in the new Season.
Some even allege that frequent server errors have started affecting their gameplay as well.
This is also a piece of bad news for those who had reached the Iridescent rank last season but have received the Diamond skin.
Due to this, disappointed players have taken to social media to express their concerns.

Gamers are now requesting the developers to fix this bug soon and credit their profiles with the missing rewards.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, Treyarch Studios has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently working on fixing it. Although, no official ETA for the fix has been provided.
We are hopeful that Treyarch Studios will resolve this problem shortly. Having said that, we’ll keep monitoring this issue and update the story to reflect noteworthy information.
