It also lets users log in their meals and create custom recipes to keep a check on their daily nutritional needs. However, some are experiencing issues when trying to add new recipes.

When they try to save or log the recipe after adding all of the ingredients, they get an error that prevents them from going further. The same issue also pops up when editing previously saved recipes.
In some cases, it takes over an hour for the application to finally register and sync changes to the server. This has become a major issue for those who use the ‘Recipes’ feature on a daily basis.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, MyFitnessPal developers are already working to fix the issue where users are unable to save or edit their recipes. However, the support team did not share an ETA for the fix.
For the time being, you can use the MyFitnessPal web client/website to create or update your recipes as it seems to be working fine for most users.
We hope the developers find the root cause behind the problem and fix it as soon as possible. We’ll keep an eye on this matter and update this story to reflect noteworthy developments.
