[Updated] Funko app not working or loading collections after the latest update, fix allegedly in the works

Founded in 1988, Funko is best known for its licensed vinyl figurines and bobbleheads. It also manufactures action figures, apparel, accessories, licensed plush, and much more.

The app recently received the v5.0.0 patch that helps one get more insight into the available products on Funko Shop.

However, some are unhappy as they are facing difficulties using the app.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple users complain that the Funko app is not working properly. It is alleged that the app is unable to load collections resulting in suposedly empty lists or collections.

The issue has popped up after the latest update and has been persistent for the past few weeks. And expectedly those affected are annoyed and have taken to web forums to express their concerns.

A user complains that after the update their collection appears completely empty. Also, they are unable to add anything new to the collection.

Another user alleges that after updating the app and re-logging in, all scanned pops disappeared.

The affected ones are now requesting the developers to resolve this glitch as soon as possible. And fortunately, a Twitter user claims that Funko is aware of the issue and is currently working on fixing it.

We do hope that Funko resolves the problem soon.

That said, we’ll keep an eye on the issue where the Funko app is not working properly or loading collections after the latest update and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.

11:57 am (IST): It seems that the Funko app is currently down for a number of users (1,2,3).

Apart from the collections not loading, some are also having trouble using the app altogether. Even the home page appears to be stuck on the loading screen.

12:35 pm (IST): Reports indicate that users continue to face issues with the Funko app as it is still not working properly (1,2,3,4).

01:30 pm (IST): Due to the ongoing issues, the rating of Funko app has now dropped down to 1.1 star on Google Play Store.

04:40 pm (IST): According to reports (1,2,3,4), some users allege that wishlists, as well as the collections, are missing from the app.
