Discord bug where 'user chat volume levels keeps resetting' comes to light

On the other hand, others claim that their call volume levels get reduced to zero and don’t turn back up when unmuted. Due to this users have to forcefully alter the volume time and again in order to chat with their peers or colleagues.

This is understandably frustrating and annoying for them and they have taken to social media to express their concerns.

A user says that as soon as they mute and unmute someone on a call, their volume level immediately changes to 63%.

Another user alleges that whenever they join a call on their PC or smartphone, every member gets muted and they have to manually change the volume for everyone.

Users have even tried restarting the app, tinkering with various settings, and disabling attenuation, but to no effect.

A Redditor claims that Discord is aware of this issue and is working on fixing it. However, no official ETA for the bug fix has been given.

However, this is not the first time that users have faced such an issue. Reports (1,2) suggest that they have faced similar problems on the platform before as well.
