New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 27, 2023) follows:

Instagram recently rolled out a feature that enabled users with Professional accounts to schedule their posts in advance without having to use third-party apps.

This new feature helped them schedule posts and reels from their mobile app up to 75 days in advance. It was introduced with the aim of helping users save some time and keep organized while scheduling.

Instagram scheduling option disappeared

However, it seems that the ‘Scheduling option’ on Instagram has suddenly disappeared or is borked for some users (1,2,3,4,5).

Reports suggest that users who were previously using this function without any issues are now getting an error message saying ‘Try again later’.

Affected users have even tried switching from creator to business accounts after updating the app, but the feature still didn’t reappear.

In addition, for those who have already scheduled the posts or content, it mysteriously vanishes or cannot be changed.

For some, the option has just disappeared from the Advanced settings altogether. You can check out the screenshot as shared by one of those affected below:

Moreover, people have also been experiencing other issues as a result of these Scheduled posts. For instance, some are facing shadow ban while others say that scheduled posts affect the reach.

No official acknowledgment

Unfortunately, Instagram hasn’t commented on the issue where the Scheduling option has disappeared for the users.

There is also no workaround that can help users get the missing option again. But we hope that the developers reinstate this feature soon if in case it has been rolled back.

We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article accordingly.
