The Elder Scrolls Online players unable to gift Crown Crates
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), multiple players are facing an issue where they are unable to gift Crown Crates to others.
The issue has been persistent for the past few days and affects gamers across multiple platforms. Players are frustrated and annoyed as the issue remains unfixed until now and have taken to social media to criticize the developers.
One of those affected complains that even though they can purchase gloomspore crates, they are unable to gift them. They also mentioned that they are able to gift other items except the crates from the crown store.
I can buy gloomspore crates but I can’t gift them. Is this intended? I can gift other items from the crown store and I have gifted crates many times before.

Fortunately, the Bethesda Support team on Twitter has officially acknowledged the issue and is currently investigating it. Although, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.
We do hope that Bethesda Games resolves the issues related to Crates gifting soon.
