Metro Bank is a young banking institution (founded in 2010) whose operations are centered in the United Kingdom.

Metro Bank says it’s a banking institution independent of any other. It also offers the classic services offered by this type of institution as well as advantages such as low fees and more.

Customers can also access loans, credits, cards and more, in addition to their bank accounts through the website or the mobile app.

That said, currently Metro Bank users are unable to access the service as their servers are down or not working, affecting both the website and the app.

Metro Bank app and website currently down or not working

According to multiple reports, no Metro Bank customer can access their accounts. Neither the app nor the website is working so users are unable to check or transfer their funds.

The issue has been present for several hours. Also, users are getting ‘You’ve successfully logged out’ when trying to access their accounts.

Metro Bank team is already aware

The Metro Bank team is already aware of the issue and is working to restore the operation of its online services. However, there is still no ETA for the solution.

07:10 pm (IST): According to the Metro Bank official ‘status tracker’, the app and online banking services are already working properly, but Commercial Online Banking and Business Online Plus are still down.

Update 2 (October 06, 2022)

05:15 pm (IST): According to fresh reports on Twitter, Metro Bank app and website are again down or not working for many.

Luckly, Metro Bank support has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that they are currently working to resolve it.

Update 3 (October 10, 2022)

12:59 pm (IST): The recent outage with the Metro Bank app appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh user reports.

Update 4 (December 23, 2022)

04:46 pm (IST): According to reports (1, 2), Metro Bank app is again down or not working for a section of users.

Luckily, Metro Bank support has acknowledged this issue and said that they are working to resolve it. However, they didn’t provide any ETA for the fix.

01:09 pm (IST): It seems that the recent issue with Metro Bank has now been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.

05:22 pm (IST): The Metro Bank app is currently down or not working for multiple users, according to recent reports (1, 2, 3, 4).

Update 7 (March 17, 2023)

09:30 pm (IST): The lack of new reports related to outage in several hours indicates that the bank’s app is already working correctly again.
