The Disney controlled video on demand subscription service, Hulu, has a lot of subscribers.

However, Hulu subscribers have been facing an issue with the commercials being too loud for quite some time.

Since this issue is not affecting only Hulu subscribers, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has stepped in to investigate.

The Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation (CALM) Act governs loud television commercials.

Now, the FCC is asking consumers to share their views on the effectiveness of the CALM Act in preventing loud television commercials.

The FCC recently released a public notice regarding the same inviting consumers to comment on the matter.

So, those who are facing the loud commercials issue can use this link to share their views on the effectiveness of the CALM Act with the FCC.

Apart from that, Hulu has also acknowledged the loud television commercials issue and is working to resolve it.

However, Hulu Support has not provided any ETA for the fix so subscribers may have to be patient for some time.

For now, those who are experiencing the loud commercials issue can try tweaking their device’s volume leveling or night mode features if the device has any.

While this issue has been affecting consumers for ages, it is good that the FCC and Hulu are finally making an effort to resolve it.
