Life 360 is a location-based service that allows friends and family members to share their locations with each other. It is available on Android, iOS, and Windows.

The service was working fine until some users began to report issues accessing it. So, if you are facing problems while using Life 360, then find solace in knowing that you aren’t the only one having issues lately.

A quick look on Twitter suggests that Life 360 servers are currently down or not working for a section of users.

As per reports, while some say the service isn’t working or broken for them, others noted that it throws an error stating – “An known error has occurred, please check your internet connection and try again.“

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Moreover, Downdetector, a popular service that gives information about live outages, has also seen a surge in the reports which conveys that Life 360 is indeed going through a glitch.

Unfortunately, the support team hasn’t yet acknowledged this issue but we hope that they fix it soon since many users aren’t able to access the service.

Regrettably, we haven’t come across any workaround that might help you fix this problem temporarily. That means you’ll have to wait until devs come up with a definitive fix.

08:05 pm (IST): The company — via Twitter — confirmed that they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it soon. However, there’s no ETA for a fix.

09:25 am (IST): Life 360 has posted another tweet to confirm that they’re still working on a fix.

Update 3 (January 15, 2023)

09:45 am (IST): Life 360 has confirmed that they have resolved the issue. However, they also claim it could take up to 36 hours to take effect for some members.

Update 4 (March 2, 2023)

08:42 am (IST): According to fresh reports on Twitter (1, 2, 3) and Downdetector, Life 360 is currently down or not working for a section of users.

06:12 pm (IST): The recent issue has been resolved as reports have diminished.
