The company’s software caters to the needs of medium-to-large-sized companies. But like any other app, Workday is also prone to various bugs and issues.
Workday app crashing after the latest update on iOS
The issue seems to have popped up after the recent v2023.08.0.77238 app update released on the App Store. For some, the app crashes at startup itself, and for others, it crashes at login.
An iPhone 14 Pro owner complains that after the recent update, Workday’s application crashes on startup itself, rendering the app completely unusable.
Another user alleges that now the app crashes on both their smartphones, making it difficult to carry on with their work.
@Workday your app is crashing after the update today on both my phones it’s nothing to do with the companies or IT admins it’s to do with your application and app’s developers
Company HR Admins or IT Admins shouldn’t have anything to do with your app devs pushing an update that causes it to crash on iOS devices. have this same issue.
Earlier, Workday’s support team on Twitter had asked the affected users to contact their HR or IT administrator for help with this issue.
But the frustrated users say that HR or IT Admins have nothing to do with the faulty Workday app.
They are now requesting the developers to fix the crashing issue so that they can easily manage their day-to-day tasks once again.
Fortunately, the developers are allegedly aware of the issue and have temporarily disabled the app’s access from the App Store. However, those who have already updated the app can use the web version for the time being.
We do hope that Workday will resolve the issue soon.
That said, we’ll keep tabs on the issue where the Workday app keeps crashing on iOS devices and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
