Even though fans are excited to play Hogwarts Legacy, those who got early access to the game are facing an issue where they are unable to get Merlin’s Cloak Twitch Drop or reward for watching streams.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple players are unable to get their hands on Merlin’s Cloak.

To receive Twitch Drops, gamers need to watch a streamer with Twitch Drops enabled for a set amount of time.

In addition to that, if you tune into Avalanche Software’s official Twitch channel for a duration of 20 minutes, you’ll receive an in-game bonus reward. These include Merlin’s Cloak and robes appearance gear slot.

Even though some claim to have watched streams from the above-mentioned channel and unlocked the reward, they are unable to find or use Merlin’s Cloak in the game.

I was watching streams and got the legacy drops but it won’t show any progress towards the Merlin’s coat. I watched for well over the 20 minutes after completing the first drop. Anyone have any advice?

I unlocked the merlin robes in the avalanche stream, plus all the other twitch drops today and confirmed it says so on my drops inventory. I have all twitch drops in game besides the merlin robes. Did anyone get them? Am I missing something?

A player on Twitter says that even though their accounts are properly linked, they are still unable to get their hands on it.

Gamers are only facing this issue with the rewards promised with the Avalanche stream on Twitch. Others are reportedly showing or progressing as they should.

Fortunately, the company’s official support team on Twitter has responded on the matter. They have asked the affected players to check for some information on the matter from here.

Update 1 (Feb. 9, 2023)

02:57 pm (IST): The first Twitch drop round for the Hogwarts Legacy ‘Merlin’s Cloak’ has ended. Some players who couldn’t get the drop are asking when the next one will be (1, 2, 3, 4).

According to a player, the next Twitch drop round will take place on Friday (February 10):

Friday twitch stream is when you can get the drop for Merlin’s cloak. If anybody was wondering 🥸🪄

Update 2 (Feb. 10, 2023)

03:27 pm (IST): After the second Twitch drop round, some players are reporting that they are not getting ‘Merlin’s Cloak’ while they are able to claim other items (1,2,3).

Update 3 (Feb. 13, 2023)

12:48 pm (IST): According to Avalanche’s community manager, the company will be offering more chances to obtain the cloak over the coming few weeks.
