According to several reports, the issue is related to the camera acceleration settings in the game.

Potential workaround

Players have reported that turning camera acceleration all the way down and camera sensitivity up can make a huge difference to the overall smoothness of the game.

This workaround has been confirmed by a large thread on Reddit and several other online forums, with players reporting a night and day difference in their gameplay experience.

If you’re experiencing similar issues, try the following steps to improve your gameplay:

1. Go to the options menu in the game.
2. Navigate to the camera settings.
3. Turn the camera acceleration all the way down.
4. Increase the camera sensitivity.

It’s worth noting that this workaround may not work for everyone, and your mileage may vary. But many players have reported improved experience after following these steps.

It’s also important to keep in mind that this is just a temporary workaround, and the developers may release a patch to fix the issue in the future.

Avalanche Software has not yet acknowledged the Hogwarts Legacy choppy camera issue but let’s hope that a patch will be able to resolve the issue, or it will be addressed by the developers quickly.

We will provide you with the latest developments as and when they happen, so watch this space.
