Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, World of Warcraft (WoW) is a popular name in the online role-playing genre. The game recently received an update that fixed some of the known issues.

For instance, it addressed an issue where players were unable to cast Echo of Doragosa’s Arcane Missiles.

The update also resolved a problem in the Storm’s Fury quest where the map icons for ‘Storm Warning’ would not be displayed properly.


Even though the patch successfully resolved some of the known bugs, players are still facing some issues with the game.

World of Warcraft ‘Trading Post Mount’ not showing up for some players

Some players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are facing an issue where they are unable to claim their trading post mounts.

The Trading Post allows one to exchange their Trader’s Tender for some magical and mystical items. Trader’s Tender points can be earned by participating in a variety of in-game activities.

However, it is alleged that gamers are unable to receive the rewards despite completing various activities or quests in the game.


A user on the web forums shared an instance where they didn’t receive even half of the tokens after finishing their monthly quests.

Another complains that even though they are credited with 1000 points in the Traveler’s Log, the mount reward is not available in the chest at the Trading Post.

Kind of a bummer, that I can’t get my cat mount from the trading post. Wonder if this will be fixed before my main dies because of Zanzil’s slow poison. @Warcraft

Players have even tried cleaning the cache and logging out and signing back into their profile but couldn’t fix the problem. The bug appears to have popped up after a recent game update.

Official response

Fortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has officially responded to the matter. They are aware of the issue and are currently working on fixing it. Although, an official ETA has not been provided yet.


We do hope that the developers resolve this problem as soon as possible.

That said, we’ll keep an eye on the issue where the ‘Trading Post Mount’ is not showing up for some World of Warcraft players and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.

Update 1 (February 7, 2023)

12:35 pm (IST): It appears that WoW support is currently not responding to tickets regarding the issue or sending automated pre-written emails that are not as helpful to affected players.

I still can not get my tokens or mount i unlocked. Answer my ticket!

Completed Traveler’s Log but did not receive the Ash’adar Mount. Filed a ticket but nothing resolved. The response I received were web links that did not help.
