[Updated] Pokemon Unite 'Log-in failed' issue (Error Code: 1-5-1200) frustrating some players

Pokemon Unite is a video game that limits the time a match is played. Unlike other super-competitive MOBA games, the game is quite easy and fun to play.

The free-to-play online multiplayer game is developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by The Pokemon Company. It was launched on July 21 on the Switch with Android and iOS versions coming out on September 22.

Having said that, since the game is still in its early days, the developers are inclined towards bringing more content and introducing new characters to the game. However, these changes might result in some bugs and issues.

Recently, Pokemon Unite players complained that the matchmaking system was unfair and that they were getting low-rank players on their team with the enemy having fairly experienced players.

Now, recent reports say Pokemon Unite players are facing a ‘Log-in failed’ issue and are getting Error Code: 1-5-1200. This is really frustrating since many are unable to play the game for the last few hours.

Hi, I can’t login using my PTC account. It says login error code 1-5-1200. I already uninstalled/reinstalled the app, I also restarted it, restarted my device, cleared cache, cleared data TT_TT please help

Players said they tried all the usual resolutions such as clearing cache, data, and reinstalling the game but nothing seems to resolve the issue right now. The number of reports coming in suggests that the issue lies on the developer’s end.

Some said clearing cache worked for them, while others reported that reinstalling the game fixed the issue.

With developers yet to acknowledge the Pokemon Unite log-in issue, it seems players will have to wait a few more hours before a fix is rolled out. In the meantime, those affected have no option but to play other games.
