NBA All World is a recently released AR (augmented reality) game in the sports genre available to play on iOS and Android devices.
Being an AR-based game, it allows for an immersive experience. Also, like other titles, one will need to wander around in order to collect some items or bonuses.
Even though it was released globally only a few days ago, some limited territories have had early access to it for a few weeks now.
Those who have been playing it for a while believe that certain improvements are needed.
NBA All-World ‘1v1 duels’ reportedly tedious and unintuitive
Some players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) are criticizing the game’s 1v1 mode (personal duels) and describing them as quite tedious or boring.
A player on Twitter complained that the 1v1 game mode is quite difficult to play. Also, the in-game tutorial doesn’t explain the mode in detail, which leaves some confused.
Gamers also claim that the ‘Referral System’ does not work properly and also feel that the rewards are not all that appealing, except for tournament rings or star tokens.
Others also claim that the game takes more time than usual to load and lags as well while playing.
The 1v1 is corny and controls are horrible. Better off downloading nba2k. I’ll play it for a little longer to give it a ‘shot’

Gave @nbaallworld a try today. It’s aight! Leveled up to 5. Love the shooting games, but I am not enjoying the 1v1.

They are now requesting the developers to make changes in the gameplay mechanics, the game’s textures, and also make certain performance improvements. Doing so should make it more enjoyable for them.
We do hope that Niantic makes the required changes so that players can enjoy battling their opponents.
That said, we’ll keep an eye on the issues that some NBA All-World players have with the 1v1 duels and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
