New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 9, 2022) follows:

Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) has become the community’s preferred mode once again in Madden NFL 23. While Franchise mode has significantly improved this year, nothing can beat the team-building aspect of MUT.

Each year, the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) is held which crowns the best Madden player in the world. EA Sports has also decided to reintroduce the Madden Championship Series cards in Madden 23.

Just like last year, players will be able to earn exclusive rewards for watching the MCS live streams on Twitch.

Madden 23 players received no MCS Tokens from Twitch drop

However, some Madden 23 players are facing an issue where they received less or no MCS Tokens from Twitch drop (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

To earn the MCS Tokens, you need to connect your EA account with your Twitch account. After this, you have to watch a live stream of MCS for the required time and claim the drops as they become available.

Once a player has acquired an MCS Token, they can either use it to get a Standard Twitch Drop Pack or save it until they have three in order to claim an 88 OVR MCS program Jaylen Waddle card.

Unfortunately, many players are complaining that they didn’t receive the MCS Tokens or received less than what they were supposed to get.

@EAMaddenNFL_MCS watched your stream on Wednesday and I realized I need my twitch hooked up to madden but I watched the stream and now how do I get the packs or do I not?

@EAMaddenNFL_MCS @EASPORTS_MUT I joined at 6:30pm central and watched the entire stream I only received 4 packs and 3 of them were regular twitch packs, not the MCS packs.

Some players are annoyed as they watched the whole MCS stream but still haven’t received their rewards till now.

Also, we haven’t come across any workaround for the issue with Twitch drops’ Madden 23 MCS Tokens reward.

Issue acknowledged

Fortunately, EA support didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

Update 1 (January 25, 2023)

12:16 pm (IST): Some players are again reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) that they are not receiving MCS tokens from Twitch drops.

Luckily, EA support has acknowledged this issue and said that they are working to fix it. However, there’s no ETA for the same.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We’re aware that the MCS tokens are being reported missing by some players in Madden 23. Please bear with us while we work on getting this fixed as soon as possible. -Bob (Source)
