[Updated] Udemy down or not working? You're not alone

Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Udemy is down and not working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

We’ve seen users reporting the same across the micro-blogging site Twitter (1, 2, 3). While some say the service is down, others say it throws an error 502 (We are having trouble reaching our servers. Try waiting a minute or two and then reload. 502).

As per Downdetector, the service that gives information about outages, a service outage can be seen in some of the regions (as can be seen in the image below).

Update 1 (January 16, 2023)

05:38 pm (IST): Multiple reports on Twitter (1, 2, 3, 4) suggest that Udemy is currently down or not working for a section of users. As per reports, users are getting ‘Internal server error’.

Update 2 (January 17, 2023)

11:19 am (IST): The recent issue where users were getting ‘Internal server error’ appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any widespread reports for the same.
