New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 12, 2023) follows:

NVIDIA is one of the leading brands in the gaming hardware and peripherals segment. The company offers a wide catalog of products in different price ranges for all audiences.

Owners of NVIDIA products can manage them through GeForce Experience. The tool offers multiple possibilities like creating screenshots and videos of your games to share, updating GPU drivers, and more.

However, now multiple NVIDIA GeForce Experience users are dealing with an issue where they are not receiving the verification email, preventing them from log into their accounts.

NVIDIA GeForce Experience users not getting verification email

Since a few hours, NVIDIA servers have not been sending verification emails to GeForce Experience users. The bug prevents them from accessing their accounts, which leads to other problems.

By not being able to log into their accounts, NVIDIA GeForce Experience users are unable to access options like updating drivers, setting up their NVIDIA hardware, and more.

Also, when users try to resolve the issue by resetting their password, they just get a message saying that the service is down.

Geforce experience not sending email

I just logged in and installed after upgrading to 4090 from 3080 and the thing tells me over and over its sending emails but it is not sending anything! I can’t log in to Geforce experience–this is the latest drivers. Any tips how to fix this? It’s very frustrating

There are two scenarios where users require NVIDIA verification email: When they try to access their accounts from unknown hardware (or for the first time), or when they have set the 2FA option with email.

It’s worth pointing out that some users feel that the NVIDIA GeForce Experience verification policy is very aggressive, as it requires you to do the process constantly.

So, there are users who want changes to the verification policy in NVIDIA GeForce Experience to make it more lax.

Issue acknowledged, workaround to update drivers

Fortunately, the NVIDIA team is already working on a fix for the problem. However, there is still no ETA for everything to work normally again.

Our team is investigating an issue which is preventing NVIDIA verification emails from being sent. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and will share updates as they become available.
