Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Madden 22 isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing an issue with the game’s servers. A quick look at Twitter suggests there are many others affected by the same issue.

Reports piling on by the minute suggest that players are unable to connect to the online servers as it throws an error or notification stating ‘Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later.’

Any official word on the matter? Fortunately, yes. Madden support has confirmed that they are aware of the server issues and are actively working on a fix for the problem.

12:39 pm (IST): Madden 22 support on Twitter has confirmed that the server issue is now resolved.

Update 2 (December 28, 2022)

08:28 am (IST): Multiple reports (1, 2) and the Downdetector platform indicate that Madden servers are currently not working for many players. EA team is already aware and is working on a fix.

Update 3 (December 29, 2022)

10:08 am (IST): It has only been a few hours since the maintenance and players are reporting (1, 2, 3) that Madden CFM servers are currently down or not working for them.

Update 4 (December 30, 2022)

05:48 pm (IST): Madden support has acknowledged the CFM connection issue and said that they are investigating it. However, no ETA for a fix was provided.

Franchise Update:
We are aware of users encountering issues when connecting to CFM late last night. We have begun to investigate and will update this thread once we know more.

Update 5 (January 11, 2023)

11:00 am (IST): According to fresh reports on Twitter and Downdetector, Madden 23 servers are currently down or not working for some gamers.

06:41 pm (IST): The recent outage with Madden 23 has now been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.

Update 6 (January 12, 2023)

09:42 am (IST): Many gamers are now reporting that the game servers are currently down or not working for them.

However, the support team had already informed players that the servers will be under maintenance as they plan on deploying Title Update 6 and all the online game modes will be inaccessible.

So, this explains the current outage.

📌1/12/23 6:00am EST: All other platforms will undergo maintenance in preparation for Title Update 6

MUT will be gated starting at 5:30am EST. During this time all online modes will be offline. Please complete all games before maintenance begins. (Source)
