Produced by World of Wonder, RuPaul’s Drag Race is quite a popular reality competition television series. The show has received positive reviews from fans and critics.

RuPaul plays the roles of a host, a mentor, and a head judge for this drag race series, and is in search of ‘America’s next drag superstar’.

In the show, the contestants are given different challenges each week and are judged by a panel comprised of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and an alternating third main judge of either Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, or Ts Madison.

It has already completed a total of 14 seasons, and now the 15th is being premiered on MTV.

One could watch it by making use of a live TV service like YouTube TV, FuboTV, Philo, Sling TV (with Comedy Extra), or Hulu with Live TV.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple users are unable to watch the drag race on Paramount Plus streaming service.

Viacom CBS’s Paramount Plus is a membership subscription model which features shows from the likes of MTV, CBS, BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, The Smithsonian Channel, and many others.

Even though the streaming service offers shows from MTV, RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 appears to be missing.

This left the show’s fans confused and disappointed. The season 15 episodes one and two premiered back-to-back on MTV on January 6 and some of the fans missed the live stream.

Used to watch drag race on Amazon Prime, then it was removed so we subscribed to W.O.W- and it wasn’t even on there at all so then we got Paramount+…and now it’s not on there either, I’m irritated

Some fans (1,2,3,4,5,6) claim that they had just purchased the Paramount Plus service in order to watch the race live.

This has left some angry, and they are now thinking of canceling the subscription and ask the company for a complete refund.

I have been watching since the debut of season 1. I do not have cable, I have Paramount+, I refuse to pay for another service at $25 a month to watch this. Sad that this is the first season I will miss. I don’t understand the business model of losing viewership @MTV

@RuPaulsDragRace So much misinformation about season 15 on Apple TV and other services. I subscribed to HULU as recommended. Not available. I subscribed to Paramount. Not available. Where is it actually streaming?

As of now, a user has to separately install the standalone MTV app on their mobile devices or televisions and watch it in an ad-supported mode. This is irritating for some, as they have to watch commercials time and again.

It might be a possibility that in this case as well, the situation is the same as it was with the TV show ‘Yellowstone’.

In that particular case, the show was only available for Live TV and wouldn’t show up on Paramount Plus’ streaming service until all the episodes had aired.

So, it could be a possibility that Paramount+ was unable to bag the streaming rights for the show this year, and the show might be available for one to view after the season ends.

11:28 am (IST): A user said that they were able to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 on WOW app using VPN.

Yeah. It’s pretty stupid. I ended up using a VPN so I could watch it on the WOW app. (Source)

04:14 pm (IST): According to a Redditor, this behavior in the availability of RuPaul’s Drag Race was the same in the previous season. Fans had to watch it on cable or buy the whole season.

It really hasn’t changed. You needed cable to watch VH1 or you had to buy the season, people are overreacting a lot for no reason.

Another Redditor claims that the multiple complaints have had no negative impact on viewership.

They just had their biggest premiere in over 6 years so don’t think they are gonna have a viewership drop. Also, I had no issues watching it.
