Rainbow Six Siege 'time-limited challenges' not available or working, issue under investigation

Developed by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is quite a popular game in the online tactical shooter genre.

Players can challenge and combat their opponents on some of the popular platforms like Windows PC or PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The developers recently released the ‘Operation Solar Raid’ update for the game, adding new maps and fixing some of the known bugs with its gameplay, level design, operators, and user experience.

It also addressed the issues where an ‘Operator’ could fall through the map at EXT Zodiac on the ‘Yacht map’ and a ‘Defender’ could remain undetected in a specific area outside on the ‘Clubhouse map’.

However, like any popular tactical shooter game, Rainbow Six: Siege also suffers from occasional bugs and issues.

For instance, we recently covered an issue where Rainbow Six Siege players faced a high ping issue because of a wrong server selection.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple gamers are facing an issue where the ‘time-limited challenges’ are not available or working for some.

The players are displayed a ‘Challenges are currently not available’ message while trying to check for one inside the ‘time-limited challenges section’.

Some have also reported that when they attempt to claim their R6 weekly challenges, the Ubisoft Connect app appears to freeze.

Gamers are also facing problems accessing any information related to the previous challenges they might have played or completed.

The bug is said to have been persistent for the past few days and affects players across multiple platforms.

Like everyone else here, limited time challenges just say they are not available..for like the past week and a bit as well.

Some feel disappointed because the glitch makes it impossible for them to battle other players in the exciting time-limited challenge.

Fortunately, Ubisoft Support has officially acknowledged the issue that has popped up recently and is currently working on fixing it. However, no ETA for the same has been shared as of now.
