Google Pixel has long been a leading player in its line of products that are often commended for high-quality cameras and software experience.

Pixel phones usually receive regular software updates but in recent years, some owners have expressed frustration with the company’s customer service and after-sales support.

Google Pixel users keep facing some troubles with the customer support and after-sales services. We recently highlighted an issue where some users were stuck on October and November security patches.

Google Pixel customer and after-sales support

And now, some Google Pixel owners who have had negative experiences with the company’s customer service and after-sales support have come out to express their frustration on Reddit.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7), they had negative experiences with Google support, citing issues with warranties, product replacements, and the duration of after-sales support.

I am currently going through some of the worst online shopping experience I had in my life, all because I purchased a phone through Google’s own web store. What happened is that the phone I bought (P7p) was not in the delivered package and 2 weeks into raising a case with Google support I get the same answer from Support – “We ask you for your patience, while we investigate the matter”… Well I paid almost a 1000 euro for a phone and my patience is wearing thin..

Affected users have taken to forums and social media platforms to express their concerns and seek a solution.

These issues have led some customers to raise concerns about Google’s ability to provide a satisfactory level of support to its customers.

In comparison, Apple’s Genius Bar technical support has received praise for its efficiency and effectiveness.

Some Google Pixel owners have called for the company to implement a similar system in order to improve the customer experience.

This is in line with our previous concerns with the market performance of Pixel phones owing to the poor customer support.

However, even after multiple reports Google has not addressed or acknowledged these growing concerns yet. It remains to be seen how Google will tackle the backlash.

That being said, we really hope that Google takes the issue into consideration and works on improving the quality of its customer care and post-purchase support.
