New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 14, 2022) follows:

Recap or Review fever has surely gone viral these days, especially after the buzz created by Spotify Wrapped. In no time, the need for a similar feature started ringing in for platforms like Soundcloud, Apple Podcast, and more.

Even PlayStation and Nintendo players recently got their Wrap Up and Year in Review 2022 respectively.

Xbox users demand ‘Wrap Up’ stats

Following this, a number of Xbox users (1,2,3,4,5,6) are also demanding their own recap-like feature akin to ‘Wrap Up’ or ‘Year in Review 2022’.

So we got Nintendo and Sony year in review so, @Xbox where is our year in review at? #Xbox

so far I’ve seen playstation & switch players post their 2022 most played recap, anyone know if xbox has something like that???

Xbox users now want to check their gaming stats like the number of times they played a game or the game scores. Needless to say, it comes after various other platforms rolled out their own versions of recaps.

It seems that Xbox did have a ‘Year in Review’ feature a few years ago, but it has now stopped presenting users with the yearly stats.

On the contrary, there are some players who aren’t really of the view that Microsoft should also do an Xbox recap. You can check out one such comment below:

Nevertheless, players who only use Xbox feel that it’s unfair for them to not be able to see their stats while other platforms are actively providing that.

No official comment

Microsoft hasn’t commented anything on the matter regarding rolling out a feature like Wrap Up or Recap for Xbox users.

Either way, it would be interesting to have such a feature in future. After all, a bunch of major platforms already have it.

We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this story as and when something noteworthy comes up.
