I love this show, but the audio track lags behind and it’s hard to watch. I notice that there have been lots of complaints specifically regarding this show from different users. No other Prime Video show has this problem. Why hasn’t this been fixed? (Source)

@PrimeVideo I’m trying to binge Jack Ryan and the audio on episode 2 is all messed up….episode 1 good….ep 3 good…but words don’t match up with video on 2…it’s like 7 seconds off….I’m trying to inject Tom Clancy into my veins and you are really messing up my vibe. (Source)

As per the reports (1, 2, 3), the audio and video does not match in the episode 2 of season 3, while other episodes play as usual. Also, this problem is being reported by users on multiple platforms.

Fortunately, Amazon Prime support has acknowledged this bug and said that the technical team is currently working to resolve it. However, they didn’t provide any ETA for the same.

Luckily, we have come across a workaround for Apple TV users that might help them fix this problem temporarily. You can check it out below.

If you’re using Apple TV, go to Settings » Video and Audio » Audio Format, the Change Format to On and New Format should be Dolby Digital 5.1. Go back to the show and audio will be in sync. No Dolby Atmos tho. (Source)

Rest assured, we will update this story when we encounter anything noteworthy.

Note: We have more such stories in our dedicated bugs and issues section, so be sure to follow them as well.
