Hive Social is a popular social media platform that allows users to connect with friends, family, and other individuals with similar interests.

However, it does experience bugs and glitches every now and then that negatively affect users. For instance, we recently covered an issue where some had trouble deactivating or deleting their accounts.

Hive Social ‘An error occurred loading users’ issue

Some users are reporting an issue where they are unable to view their followers or following list on the Hive Social app. They instead get ‘An error occurred loading users’ prompt while trying to check the list.

I can’t see followers/followings on Android (Pixel 7 Pro), also can’t do RePost, when I try the application froze and in have to close it

I still don’t know if my Hive is working properly. It doesn’t show up my followers/following and also some other odd things.

This is frustrating and is making it difficult for users to interact with others on the platform.

Additionally, it is worth noting that Hive Social claims to have fixed the ‘An error occurred loading users’ issue with its 2.0.2 update.

While iOS users have already received the update in question, Android users are still waiting for it to finally roll out.

Making matters worse, some are also unable to ‘RePost’ content on the platform or receive likes notifications.

Potential workaround

Furthermore, reports also suggest that the issue is fixed on the beta version of the Android app. Affected users are advised to use try installing the beta version to see if the problem persists.

What isn’t said in the above post is that this is the Beta update and not something that those of us without beta access can expect for at least a few days.

Even though the solution is available in beta, it may take some time to reach the stable version on Android.

Having said that, we hope that the issue where Hive Social users are getting ‘An error occurred loading users’ message is mitigated by the upcoming update.
