It’s pretty clear by now that new Twitter CEO, Elon Musk, has taken it upon himself to completely revamp the micro-blogging platform.
Twitter’s mixed media and Twitter Blue have reportedly received positive feedback from users. But it doesn’t mean that it will always be this way.
Twitter ‘Swipe up for more’ feature
Apparently, a number of users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are criticizing the new ‘Swipe up for more’ feature for videos on Twitter.
Any way to turn off this new “swipe up for more” thing? This is how I used to close videos. I don’t want to see more. Awful feature.

Some users feel that this feature was not necessary for Twitter and is clearly a desperate attempt at copying TikTok and Instagram. Consequently, they want the platform to get rid of this feature already.
Since the ‘Swipe up for more’ feature is still in the testing phase, a lot of users have not been able to get their hands on it. But a limited set of users who could, aren’t really liking it.
Some are even recommending bringing back the Fleets feature, as previously highlighted by us. They feel that the Stories-like functionality was a better way for them to watch videos.
Although not many are quite impressed with this new feature, it seems that there are some who think that the feature is indeed ‘cool’.
Twitter hasn’t responded to criticism yet
Unfortunately, Twitter hasn’t commented on this matter where a section of users is not happy with the ‘Swipe up for more’ feature.
But users can definitely wait for the team to analyze the impressions of the performance of this new feature since it’s still in the early testing phase.
