New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on December 7, 2022) follows:

American country music singer, Morgan Wallen, recently announced his ‘One Night At A Time’ World Tour. Verified fans can buy the presale tickets starting December 7 to December 9 on Ticketmaster.

While it is certainly good news for a number of fans out there, some are equally concerned about the ticket-selling platform, Ticketmaster. Considering the entire Taylor Swift fiasco, many are already anticipating the same outcome.

The platform even created a similar ruckus at the time of Tyler Childers and Kenny Chesney’s presale ticket distribution process.

Ticketmaster Morgan Wallen Presale

This has undeniably put Morgan Wallen fans in a dilemma for all the right reasons. Several fans are already reporting a number of issues with the Ticketmaster presale of the ‘One Night At A Time’ World Tour.

screw ticketmaster a waitlist really i’ve been dying to see morgan and now i won’t even have a chance to get tickets🙄 #Ticketmaster #MorganWallen @Ticketmaster @MorganWallen

I found a thread where a lot of people who hadn’t received the waitlist email have gotten codes but those who did receive the waitlist email did not.

So, one of the major issues is definitely the waitlist for tickets on the platform. It generally occurs when the current tickets from any event are no longer available.

But it seems that Ticketmaster is holding verified fans on the waitlist for hours without giving them any clarification.

Another issue that’s troubling users is that they are not getting their Presale codes along with some email verification concerns.

@MorganWallen @Ticketmaster I got my email I’m getting a text with my code for tomorrow but no code yet!?!?!

Neither are the verified fans receiving presale codes (1,2,3,4) nor are they getting any verification emails (1,2,3,4) from Ticketmaster. This is further prompting them to point towards a disaster that could end like that of Taylor Swift.

I got nothing out of the Taylor Swift presale disaster and nothing now with Morgan Wallen & when I tell you Ticketmaster will NEVER get another dime from me. I mean it with every fiber of my being.

all i want are morgan wallen tickets please @Ticketmaster don’t let this be a disaster like it was for everyone for taylor swift please please

Fenway chaos

To make matters worse, tickets for Fenway (redsox.com) are further adding to Morgan Wallen’s fans’ misery and chaos.

Apparently, this website is also providing tickets for the same. It has seemingly left several (1,2,3,4) fans confused whether Ticketmaster is selling Morgan Wallen tickets anymore or not.

In the middle of all of this, some people are having a gala by mocking the current Ticketmaster situation.

For everyone that got waitlisted to Morgan Wallen: how does it feel knowing that either bots, someone that knows two of his songs, or someone that’s gonna sell tickets for $12,000 got a presale code and not you?…let’s cry together…

No official comment

It’s surprising to note that the team hasn’t said anything about Ticketmaster users facing a number of issues with the Morgan Wallen Presale.

Nonetheless, we’ll keep tabs on the issue and update this space as and when we come across new information.

Update 1 (December 8, 2022)

11:33 am (IST): Ticketmaster support shas shared that organizers are currently working on sale date and time. And fans will receive their codes once sale date is announced.

Hello. Currently, the event organizers for the Montreal event are working on a sale date and time. Once a sale date is announced, you will receive your code. Please check back soon to our Ticketmaster website for any update info for Montreal. (Source)

Also, they are asking those affected to contact them via DM. Furthermore, support said that they’ve used a lottery-style selection process due to high demand, which explains why many were moved to the waitlist.

For Morgan Wallen’s “One Night At a Time” tour Verified Fan Presale, there is more demand than there are tickets available. A lottery-style selection process was used to determine who would be invited to join at the start of the presale and who was placed on the waitlist. (Source)

Update 2 (December 9, 2022)

12:58 pm (IST): Pre-sale codes for Morgan Wallen are still not showing up for some fans, while resale at astronomical prices has already started on other platforms (1, 2).

Furthermore, the verified fan process and the lottery system has reportedly (1, 2, 3, 4) failed. And infact, the demand from the verified fans has affected the general sale.

Update 3 (February 6, 2023)

11:39 am (IST): Three dates of Morgan Wallen’s ‘The Dangerous Tour’ have reportedly been postponed due to bad weather conditions. More on that here.

Update 4 (March 7, 2023)

03:13 pm (IST): Fans are now frustrated (1, 2, 3, 4) as the presale is live and they still haven’t received the code.

Update 5 (May 10, 2023)

05:50 pm (IST): A vocal cord injury has caused a delay on the Morgan Wallen tour, but no new dates have been set yet.

Those who have purchased tickets and prefer a refund have 30 days to request it.
