It transmits premium video and audio using the most innovative and latest technology into the homes of its consumers. However, there have often been instances where it gets affected by various bugs and issues.

For instance, we previously highlighted how the ABC Channel stopped working on DirecTV owing to a technical difficulty.

Now, it seems that the TV channel distributor has somehow gotten itself into controversy again. Apparently, Fox corporation recently warned DirecTV customers that they may lose access to its sports channels.

It is obvious that this news hasn’t been taken in a good light by a number of users considering the fact that the NFL and World Cup seasons are up and running.

This has eventually led to #KEEPFOXSPORTS to trend on Twitter. Moreover, viewers feel that the absence of Fox Sports on DirecTV is ridiculous as it was supposed to air the biggest sporting events of the year.

It seemingly comes after the fear of losing access to the NFL on FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, and Big Ten Network.

It seems that DirecTV is already in talks with the Fox Corporation regarding the renewal of its local stations and national sports channels.

The team further clarified that no segment of the Fox distributors will be impacted in any way.

While this is certainly good news, DirecTV subscribers can find some solace in this fact and wait for the final verdict to come out.
