When will EA servers be back online? If you are looking for an answer to this question, you aren’t alone.

Looks like majority of EA servers are down (not online) at the moment. Games like ‘Apex Legends’, ‘Anthem’, ‘Battlefield’, ‘FIFA 19’, ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ are all affected. We are seeing a lot of reports from users about the same. Here’s the error many users are getting:

You lost your connection to the EA servers. Sign back in to access online features

Complainants – irrespective of whether they are on Xbox One or PS4 – are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to share the development. Following are some tweets:

Going by reports, many users are currently unable to complete EA Account sign in or log in (Code 100). This Reddit thread here reveals users across the world are suffering from this outage.

So far, we could not find an official word from the company on this ongoing outage, but we are constantly looking for more info. Will update the story as and we come across any news worthy development.

Update 1 (April 22, 2019)

One user finally managed to log in. Here’s the workaround and other info they shared:

Just try to keep logging in. I tried maybe 20 times over 20min and finally got in. From what I gather it’s an ea server across all games issue. Probably getting ddos attacked or something

Other error codes like 918, 721, and 524 have also come to light. Users of games like Anthem who are getting an error that says: “This EA account is restricted from accessing Anthem.”

EA servers are down again. There are a lot of reports about it on Twitter currently (see here). We are trying to gather more info, so keep checking back.

While users are complaining on Twitter about the servers going down, down detector also conveys Battlefield outage. What’s good is that EA has confirmed connection issue switch games:

01:08 pm (IST): Many gamers are now reporting that EA servers are currently down or not working for them. Also, reports on Downdetector suggest the same.

07:33 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with EA has now been resolved.

10:00 am (IST): Many gamers are now reporting (1, 2, 3) that they are facing issues connecting to EA servers. And the outage seems to be affecting various EA games including Madden 23, Apex Legends, FIFA 23 and more.

05:35 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with EA servers has now been resolved.

09:06 am (IST): A new outage on EA servers is preventing players from accessing online modes or games that rely on the EA App (1, 2).

Update 20 (May 5, 2023)

09:00 am (IST): Although the EA support team claimed that the connectivity issues were resolved, there are still players unable to access games through the EA App (1, 2, 3).

03:00 pm (IST): It seems that the issues were solved since the related reports stopped appearing a few hours ago.

09:19 am (IST): Some players report being unable to log into EA servers (1, 2).

05:00 pm (IST): Players should now be able to log into EA games as the server issues were fixed.

Update 22 (May 25, 2023)

03:33 pm (IST): EA servers are currently in the midst of an outage, which is affecting multiple titles such as the FIFA franchise, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 (among others).

02:10 pm (IST): As confirmed by the EA team, the latest outage has already been resolved.

11:05 am (IST): Players report a new outage on EA servers (1, 2, 3).

08:35 am (IST): A new server outage is preventing multiple players from accessing the EA App (1, 2, 3, 4).

01:00 pm (IST): The issue has been resolved, so EA App should be accessible again.

11:39 am (IST): The EA servers are currently partially unavailable due to maintenance, which could cause disconnections or game performance issues.

03:56 pm (IST): Some players think that the EA servers are down because they can’t access Madden 24, but the real reason is that the Madden 24 servers are currently undergoing maintenance.

04:55 pm (IST): Some gamers are reporting (1, 2) that EA servers are down. However, one of EA’s games Madden 24 servers is currently down for maintenance and not EA servers.
