[Update: FIFA 23 too] FIFA 22 Quick sell recovery not working on web & Companion app, issue acknowledged

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on November 01, 2021) follows:

FIFA 22 is the latest installment to EA’s long-running FIFA franchise released on September 26. This video game comes with various upgrades over the previous edition.

However, it has not been a good start for FIFA 22 as many players have been reporting several kinds of bugs since its release.

We have seen reports of issues such as players unable to claim Prime gaming pack, missing squad battle players, game lagging or freezing, and more.

And now, a new issue has surfaced in Quick sell recovery feature on FIFA 22. This feature allows gamers to recover FUT items that were previously discarded by the Quick sell option.

This can be done through the Companion app or FUT web app. Players simply need to tap on Quick sell recovery option and then select the date from the top menu bar when they have quick-sold the item.

However, some players are complaining that they are getting an error when using Quick sell recovery feature.

Here are some reports for reference:

Hello guys, I have a big problem. I cant use the Quick Sell Recovery in the Fifa 22 Web App. I tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge. For some reason it cant load it. Everytime i press on it: An error occurred while trying to load the discarded items. Does someone know a way to fix that? (Source)

@EAHelp there seems to be a problem with the quick sell recovery feature in both the web app and companion app for me. Everytime I click on it it says “an error occurred while trying to load the discarded items”. Is there a solution for this? (fifa 22) (Source)

When trying to recover a player item using Quick sell recovery feature, it throws an error that says ‘An error occurred while trying to load the discarded items’.

As apparent from the reports above, this issue is bothering players on the Companion mobile app and the FUT web app. Also, it looks like a widespread issue owing to the many reports from affected FIFA 22 gamers.

Fortunately, EA has acknowledged this bug with Quick sell recover tool and confirmed it’s currently under investigation. However, no ETA has been provided as to when exactly this problem will be fixed.
