NBA 2K23 is the latest and the 24th installment in the immensely popular NBA 2K franchise.

The Championship Edition of the game offers the NBA League Pass to the players which allows them to access every single live game of the season.

However, many are currently unable to redeem the season’s promo codes from the Championship Edition.

NBA 2K23 League Pass code not working

Many NBA 2K23 players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) have been facing an issue where the League Pass codes are not working or throwing a ‘not valid’ error.

@2KSupport hey I’ve tried to use my nba league pass code in two different emails and it still says my code isn’t valid . Can you guys help please

League Pass promo code which delivered today says “not valid” upon checkout. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I called 2k Customer Service and, obviously, I waited 20 minutes to be abruptly disconnected. Figures.

Players are repeatedly getting the error code even when they have an up-to-date and verified email attached to their accounts.

The issue has left many frustrated as they are unable to watch and play Preseason games.

Players not receiving codes

Apart from codes not working, many NBA 2K23 players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) are also not getting codes from the Championship Edition at all.

Hey @NBA2K @NBALPSupport I preordered the championship edition and still haven’t received my league pass code. I already put in a ticket with @2KSupport but was really hoping I’d be able watch some games tonight.

Some players who preordered the season are yet to receive any email regarding the League Pass code.

Potential workaround

Those experiencing issues related to invalid codes can try changing the monthly/season tabs as a temporary fix.

Unfortunately, there’s no workaround for the issue where players are not receiving the promised League Pass codes.

Since the developers have not acknowledged the issues with the NBA 2K23 League Pass code from Championship Edition not working yet, affected players can wait for the team to come up with a definitive fix.

We’ll keep tabs on further developments and update the article as and when something noteworthy comes up.

06:41 pm (IST): 2K support on Twitter is now asking players to open a ticket if they haven’t received their codes yet.

05:03 pm (IST): Multiple recent reports (1, 2, 3) suggest that the issue where NBA 2K23 players are not receiving the League Pass code or it is not working (‘not valid’) is still present.

In the meantime, the 2K team recommends affected players to open a support ticket in order to be attended.
