New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on October 13, 2022) follows:
Delta Airlines and Starbucks are collaborating to launch a loyalty program.
On October 12, 2022, Starbucks announced a partnership that will benefit members of Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards. This gives them more opportunities to earn rewards.
Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards loyalty program
Customers in the United States can enroll in the Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards loyalty program by linking their accounts.

Members that participate in this program will earn one mile for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases at Starbucks after linking their accounts. You may check the Starbucks Store Locator to see which stores are participating.
When registered members have a Delta flight scheduled, they will receive double Starbucks Stars on eligible purchases at Starbucks.
In addition, from October 12 through December 31, 2022, members will receive 500 miles and 150 Stars after completing a qualifying purchase.

Starbucks Stars has also been added as a new Choice Benefit for Delta SkyMiles members. Diamond and Platinum SkyMiles members can now choose 4,000 Stars as one of their yearly Choice Benefits in 2024.
These new incentives are available to both current and new members of the Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards loyalty programs.
Earlier, some users also ran into some problems while linking their accounts (1,2,3). But it seems to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any new reports.
