Sky Box 'Catch up' & 'On Demand' programmes not working on BBC, ITV & Sky channels, issue acknowledged
Sky is a company that offers telecommunications, subscription TV and internet services throughout the United Kingdom.
To access Sky TV services, they offer their own set-top-boxes. There are multiple options so you can choose the Sky Box that best suits your needs (Sky Q, Sky+ and Sky+ HD).
However, it seems that a couple of key Sky Box features (‘Catch up’ and ‘On Demand’) are not working on BBC, ITV and Sky channels.
Sky Box ‘Catch up’ and ‘On Demand’ not working correctly
Similar to other pay TV providers, Sky offers tools for those who like to download or record their favorite shows to watch them later.
To this end, Sky TV boxes have the ‘Catch up’ and ‘On Demand’ features. But multiple reports indicate that Sky Box ‘Catch up’ and ‘On Demand’ are currently not working properly on some channels like BBC, ITV and Sky.

Issue acknowledged & impacted channels
The Sky team is already aware of the issue and working on resolving it (1, 2). They also confirmed that the ‘Catch up’ and ‘On Demand’ malfunctions on select channels.
Hey Karen 👋 I’m sorry to hear this. We are aware of some issues with catch up on BBC mainly and some other channels such as ITV. Our teams are already working hard to get this resolved. We have no timescale for this. I apologise for any inconvenience. Thanks, Ross.
