Overwatch 2 'Cleaning House' (Earn 20 team kills) challenge reportedly too difficult, players call for it to be replaced

Overwatch 2 is a newly launched action-based, first-person shooter game by Blizzard Entertainment. It challenges various heroes and characters in the game to team up and take on an outbreak of threats.

However, within a few hours of its release, players started reporting many issues related to account migration and the Watchpoint Pack not working

Lately, many players (1,2,3,4) have been reporting an issue where the ‘Cleaning House’ challenge of the Overwatch 2 is too difficult for them to complete.

20 Team Kills? Maybe you reduced the players per team to 5, but doing a single Team Kill is still very hard, and you expect us to do 20 in a week?!

I think it’s not a mission that everyone can do, it’s not fair and it’s not fun and I think I speak for any rank, new and old player. These missions are badly done, we are not talking about exp we are talking about money in 10 coins are very important for us f2p, but for everyone. Is hard 20 team kill, expecially with low time!

The weekly challenge requires players to get 20 team kills in order to complete it.

However, some of them are hardly able to make it past the challenge even after having a high level in the game.

Some also believe that it’s a strategic move by the developers to increase the difficulty level so that players spend real money on buying coins to complete it.

TL;DR: It is highly likely that this one challenge has been deliberately designed to make you spend an extra $10.

Those who have been failing to achieve their weekly quest want the challenge to be removed. While others are asking for a better replacement.

Fortunately, one of the players has shared a potential game plan to complete the ‘Cleaning House’ challenge. It involves using tanks and heroes who are more efficient at killing enemies.

The issue hasn’t been acknowledged by the team yet. So, players who haven’t been able to complete the challenge can try their luck by adopting the strategy mentioned above.
