FIFA 23 offers one of the most authentic and realistic footballing simulation experiences in the gaming sphere.
It has recently introduced a new AcceleRATE system that categorizes players into three acceleration types based on height, strength, and agility.
However, it seems that this feature isn’t working correctly for many FIFA 23 players.
FIFA 23 ‘Explosive AcceleRATE’ players running slow
Many new gen console and PC users are reporting an issue (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) where the ‘Explosive AcceleRATE’ players are running slow.
Please, just please upgrade explosive I can have 10 yards on Ruben Dias with Mane and I get caught every time.

Anyone else just not feeling the explosiveness on tha cards with explosive bodytype?

Btw have you ever seen Hummels sprint with the ball faster than mbappe irl? Cos that is what is happening in this game. Lengthy 10 pace beats explosive 99 every time. Joke

There are three different FIFA AcceleRATE types in the game, generally used to depict the body types of the players: Lengthy, Controlled, and Explosive.
The ‘Lengthy AcceleRATE’ type includes players who are a bit slow but can maneuver defenders after a certain distance in full stride.
The ‘Explosive AcceleRATE’ type, on the other hand, includes players with higher agility and lower strength kick-off to an explosive start before gradually slowing down.
However, the Explosive players are currently not performing as intended.
Official acknowledgment
Fortunately, EA has acknowledged the issue and said that the team is currently working on it.
Since there’s no workaround at the moment, those affected may need to wait indefinitely for the team to come up with a fix.
That said, we’ll keep tabs on the issue and update the article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
