NBA 2K Mobile is a free-to-play mobile basketball game developed by 2K that is available on Android and iOS devices.

There are a variety of game modes available, such as 5-on-5 matches, Tourneys, real-time NBA PvP multiplayer, and much more.

Gamers can also collect hundreds of basketball player cards featuring the 2022-23 NBA roster, NBA Playoffs Superstars, NBA All-Stars, and NBA MVPs.

NBA 2K Mobile slow loading issue

Lately, many NBA 2K Mobile players are reporting an issue where the app is taking too long or very slow while loading for them (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

According to impacted players, the game loads normally at first. However, at a certain percentage, the loading becomes extremely slow and takes far too long to complete.

It’s a shame that due to this issue players can’t access any of the game modes, including drills, and the game only loads to roughly 80-85%.

This issue appears to have popped up in the last few days after the recent update to the app if the reports are anything to go by.

This new NBA 2K Mobile update is bullocks. I have been trying to load the game since two days now and it does load. It keeps telling me network error. My internet is very fine. Fix up @NBA2KMobile

Some tried troubleshooting methods like restarting their mobile devices, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and clearing the cache but nothing seems to fix this issue.

Issue acknowledged

As it turns out, NBA 2K Mobile support has now acknowledged the slow or long loading time bug and said that they are working on it. However, they did not provide a timeline for when it will be fixed.
