Global Interpark is a commercial platform focused on the sale and auction of multiple products related to the culture of South Korea for the international market.
Through the platform, users can access merchandise from their favorite Korean bands, and even tickets to live events, among many other things.

However, currently many users are unable to access the website due to a big outage on the servers.

As in other server outages, the cause of the problem seems to be a sudden rise in traffic of visitors. Currently, the capacity of the servers seems to be completely exceeded.
In this case, it seems that the crash in the servers is due to the ticket sale for a BTS concert. The popularity of this South Korean band is massive and often causes this type of situation.

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL THE ARMY TRYING TO GET TICKETS TO THE YET TO COME CONCERT IN BUSAN
especially I-Army since Global Interpark has crashed but the Korean equivalent is experiencing little to no issues… btw this is suppose to be for the WORLD expo bid yall so yeah lmao

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from the Global Interpark team. So, it is not yet clear when the platform will return to normal operation.
We will be monitoring the situation to update this story as new developments emerge in the future.
