Instagram is one of the most popular social platforms. Unlike others, Instagram is focused on multimedia content.

At first, Instagram was an exclusive platform to share photos or images. But now it allows not only uploading videos, but also live streaming.

However, in the last few days the Instagram app has been experiencing multiple issues. Here we have covered how the ‘link in bio’ is not working properly and stories auto-playing with audio even with silent mode enabled.

Now, a new bug has emerged that many users are taking advantage of to ‘prank’ others. Currently, Instagram accounts are logging out when searching or clicking on ‘#Embeded’ or ‘Embedded’.

Instagram logging out when searching or clicking ‘#Embeded’ or ‘Embedded’

Social platforms like Twitter are full of users encouraging others to search or click ‘#Embeded’ or ‘Embedded’ on Instagram. But they are just trying to get others to fall into the glitch and be logged out of their accounts.

Clicking #embeded on Instagram immediately logs you out. It’s apparently a new ongoing glitch. So you’re bound to see more posts saying. “Go to your Instagram, and search in #embeded & then click on the first post.” Good way to prank someone.

I had to try it. I did get logged out but i just logged back in. FYI if you spell it wrong (embedded) you still get logged out. 😆

No official acknowledgment, workarounds for app crashing

The issue should not cause any problems on your account and you should be able to re-login. However, for some users the bug causes the Instagram app to constantly crash, preventing them from using it.

If you are one of the people affected by this problem, a simple ‘clear cache’ on Instagram app could be enough to fix it.

Yup their is a bug when searching anything with a hashtag. It crashes my insta app on Android. I just have to force close it, clear the cache, then it opens as normal, no need to log back in.S

If ‘clear cache’ is not enough, then you can try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

I just uninstall and reinstall the app and I was fine.. Also I had two factor authentication and I didn’t see and other login activity so I think it’s fine… . Please tell me if any thing came up

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from the Instagram team yet. We will update this story once new related developments emerge.
