Original story (published on September 01, 2022) follows:
YouTube Studio is a tool that gives in-depth knowledge to content creators about the analytical part of their YouTube channels and also allows them to manage them from one place.
It provides features like viewing a channel’s analytics, the ability to manage a live stream, reading and responding to comments, and many more.
YouTube Studio analytics showing zero views or ‘data temporarily unavailable
Traditionally, when a user selects the YouTube Studio analytics, they are able to see metrics like views, watch time, subscribers, and much more.
But due to a bug, creators are missing their video analytics from August 23 to August 25.
This is an incredibly frustrating issue as some content creators are unable to see other analytical metrics like watch hours as well. Due to this issue, the overall count of these metrics is affected as well.
I have a video that did roughly 1200 views and 50 hours of watch time that suddenly no longer being counted towards my totals in the analytics tab. Is there a way to fix this and why does something like this happen? My channel has no strikes of copyright claims against it, the video is still up on my channel
For some reason, I just lost all views and watch time for 2 random days. I know I got views for those days because it shows them when I compare individual views with the total ones. Anyone have any ideas? And does this affect the channel’s total watch time?
Some have tried troubleshooting methods like reinstalling the app, clearing the browser’s cache and cookies, and logging in and out of their YouTube account but nothing seems to work.
Fortunately, a YouTube community manager has acknowledged the issue related to Studio analytics and said that they are currently working on a fix. However, no ETA has been provided.
That said, we will keep an eye out for the latest developments regarding the YouTube Studio analytics issue and update this story as and when anything noteworthy comes to our notice.
