[Updated] State of Decay 'crashing while interacting with Supply Locker' issue acknowledged; backpack visual glitch comes to light

State of Decay is an open world zombie-survival game developed by Undead Labs. Players come together to rebuild a third-person action game.

The game is not just about killing zombies. Instead, State of Decay players must avoid zombies and manage resources to make it till the end.

That said, many players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) are reporting an issue where the game started crashing, freezing or not working after update 30.

State of Decay’s supply locker is a place where site’s Ammunition, Melee weapons and Firearms are stored. But the moment players open supply locker, the game either crashes or freezes.

However, that’s not the only issue troubling players at the moment. It seems that the backpack is also bugged as it appears to be floating in the air.

Fortunately, the team behind State of Decay has acknowledged the supply locker crashing issue and is currently working towards resolving it.

Sadly, players still continue to struggle with the backpack issue. There’s still no official word on it yet.

There’re also no workarounds that can help State of Decay players open the supply locker without crashing or freezing the game.

Hopefully, the fix for the supply locker issue comes soon and the backpack issue too gets addressed at the earliest.

04:40 pm (IST): State of Decay 2 support has confirmed that they have released a fix for the issue where the game is crashing while interacting with Supply Locker.

Hotfix 30.1 is now live! 🔥 This update will fix the crash that has affected some players while interacting with their supply locker. (Source)

10:30 am (IST): State Of Decay 2 support has acknowledged the issue with floating rucksacks and they are currently investigating it. However, there’s no ETA for the fix.
