Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Path of Exile (POE) isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Path of Exile is indeed going through a glitch server connection issues.

Any official word on the matter? Yes, the Twiter support officially confirmed server maintenance sometime back.

It’s been a long day but we wanted to put together a few thoughts while we have a moment waiting for our next server fix to build. We plan to address both the ongoing technical realm stability issues and streamers getting priority in the login queue.

11:34 am (IST): Many players have taken to Twitter to report (1, 2) that Path of Exile (POE) is currently down or not working for them.

However, the support team has confirmed that they have taken down realm to fix an issue with challenge progress in the v3.19.0f update.

07:35 pm (IST): Path of Exile support has confirmed that the game servers are now back up. This means that the recent outage with the game should now been resolved.

The game servers are back up. Sorry for the delay! There is a visual bug with the display of challenges in-game and we will be deploying a client hotfix within the next hour that will resolve this. (Source)
