Madden NFL 23 is a recent installation to the long-standing Madden NFL series published by Electronic Arts.

It is an American football video game that is currently available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox series. Its unique and hyper-real foundation makes for quite an immersive experience for gamers.

In the game, players trade some of the best footballers like Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry to get an edge over everyone else. However, it seems that Madden NFL 23 Trade Block is not working (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

@Zirksee @MaddenNFLDirect is the trade block gone or just down and will it be coming back or getting fixed?

The unavailability of trade block functionality has left many players frustrated. It appears that the issue is troubling many Xbox and PlayStation users alike.

Madden 23 not tracking Solo Battle mission

On the other hand, some players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) are also facing an issue with Madden 23 not tracking Solo Battle mission properly. According to reports from affected gamers, the progress to their Solo Battle challenge automatically resets to zero.

i grinded solos on legend got to 7 wins, 10 needed to get the reward, then it got reset to ZERO!!!!! this game is trash again!

@EASPORTS_MUT @EAMaddenNFL is anybody elses Solo Battles not tracking for Legend wins? Gave me credit for the win, in the 25+ & 30+ on MVP+ tier but still at 0 on legend

It doesn’t matter the number of wins players are registering on their end, the progress goes back to zero repeatedly.

Official acknowledgment

Luckily, support has acknowledged the issue where Madden NFL 23 Trade Block is not working. However, an ETA for the fix has not been specified yet.

As for the issue with Solo Battle not tracking progress, EA support took immediate cognizance and assured players that the team is currently working on a fix.

Unfortunately, there is no workaround to resolve the issues that Madden 23 players are grappling with. We hope that the team comes up with a definite fix at the earliest so that players can go back to playing the game unbothered.

06:41 pm (IST): There are two potential causes for the solo battles resetting issue.

Firstly, the rewards system in solo matches is different from Madden 22 and secondly, the stats reset is expected behavior and will occur every two weeks.

So, it appears to be a programming error where stats reset date is wrongly set which is why players are losing progress ahead of the given time.

05:50 pm (IST): Some of those affected have confirmed (1, 2) that the issue where Trade Block not working in Madden NFL 23 has now been resolved.
