Among its wide catalog of products, Google also offers a payment platform. Until recently, the payment platform was called Google Pay, but since mid-July it has been replaced by Google Wallet.
This can be confusing as in the past there was a Google Wallet which was replaced by Google Pay. But this year the company decided to revive Google Wallet as its ‘ultimate’ payment service.
That said, the return of Google Wallet brought new features and possibilities, but it’s not all good news.
According to multiple reports, transaction history is missing or not showing for many after the switch from Google Pay to Google Wallet. However, there seems to be an explanation for this.
Transaction history missing or not showing after ‘Google Pay to Wallet’ switch

Why are my transactions not showing in Google Wallet?
Since upgrading to a Pixel 6 (from a Pixel 4), my Google Wallet works perfectly for contactless payments but doesn’t log any transactions. Anyone else have this problem?

Apparently, in Google Pay it was much easier to check all the transactions made by users, but this is not the case in the new Google wallet.
New Google Wallet History
Since Google changed from Google Pay to Google Wallet, I no longer have access to my full transactions history, it is limited to the last 8 transactions and I cannot scroll to see more.

Since the change from Google Pay to Wallet I can no longer review recent purchases.
I can’t seem to find how to review my latest transactions in Google Wallet.
Has this been removed since it transitioned from Google Pay?

This is all you need to know
There are some changes regarding the new transaction history that are causing a lot of confusion.
First, the capacity of the Google Wallet transaction history or list activity is much more limited than that of Google Pay. The latter could save weeks or months of transactions, while Wallet only saves the last 8 operations.
This means that all the Google Pay operations from weeks or months ago were removed from the transaction history, this being the reason behind entries missing or not showing on Google Wallet.
Also, Google Wallet by default only shows the last transaction made. To access the other 7 entries you must follow the instructions below:
The Google Wallet transaction history has some problems
Still, it seems that the Wallet transaction history has some issues when displaying or updating new entries. For some users the transaction history is displayed totally empty even following the previous instructions.
I understand that. I’ve used contactless many times and still no transactions show up. I’m on a Google Pixel 6 Pro phone if that helps. There seems to be an issue with Wallet and showing transactions.

In addition, there are users who report that their transactions are not immediately reflected in Wallet, or that even their last saved records are from months ago.
Where are my recent activities? The last one i see are from May
My recent activity shows only a few activities from May… I use Google pay daily – where are the rest of my activities?

There is no official acknowledgment of the issue from the Google Pay team. We will update this story as events unfold.
