Bet365 app bottom bar buttons not working, unresponsive or grayed out after update, issue acknowledged (workarounds inside)

Bet365 is one of the most recognizable brands in the online sports betting industry. It offers a great selection of betting sports including football, tennis as well as casino and poker.

It also provides gamblers with features like live streaming and Cash Out functionality. Apart from this, the quick links at the bottom of the app are equipped with other useful buttons like ‘In-Play’ or ‘My Bets’.

But lately, users are facing issues (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) with bottom bar buttons. Apparently, the bottom buttons or quick links on the Bet365 app are either unresponsive or grayed out.

@bet365 This app is developing more glitches by the day. Cannot see large parts of the txt, now the bottom bar not responding. Having to log out and back in every 10 mins. Garbage.

Affected users are now unable to set new bets or check prior bets. According to reports, the issue is owing to the recent v8.0.2.275 app update.

The issue becomes a bit concerning because users might also permanently lose their data or history related to bets.

The unresponsive betslips issue has left users incredibly frustrated that many have taken to Twitter with harsh criticism of the Bet365 app.

@bet365 here’s an idea, don’t update your app and try to improve things, because you end up fucking it up even worse. Absolutely shocking now

Official acknowledgment and potential workaround

Fortunately, the team behind Bet365 has acknowledged the issue and is currently working on a fix. The team has also suggested a possible workaround to mitigate the issue temporarily. It involves deleting and reinstalling the app.

Another workaround involves using the web version of Bet365, as suggested by one of those affected. It appears to have fixed the issue for them.
